Modelled on the Alternative Federal Budget, the NS Alternative Budget (NSAB) publications forefront how provincial budgets, like other policy documents, are about priorities and government choices. The NSAB makes a persuasive case for how we can reprioritize, reallocate or/and raise additional funds in order to create a society that is socially and economically just. It embodies a collective, broad-based approach to budget-making that sparks debate, and provides organizations and individuals on the Left with tools to advocate for social, economic, and political alternatives.
